LOCAL CULTURE

What makes a supper club a “supper club” (+ Wisconsin’s best!)

Asking a Wisconsin native their definition of a supper club is a lot like asking them where “up north” begins–it’s different for everyone! But according to Wisconsin Cheese, “supper club culture” is defined by three main features:

🍴Ambiance: Dark, moody lighting; wood paneling; and maybe even a velvet semi-circle booth

🍴Drinks: Brandy Old Fashioneds and ice cream cocktails (here are 20 you can make at home!)

🍴Relish Trays: Creamy cheese spread accompanied by crackers and fresh/pickled vegetables

With more than 250 independently-owned clubs sprinkled across the state, Wisconsin has no shortage of exquisite supper clubs to visit.
