Every year, the League of American Bicyclists’ Bicycle Friendly Community Program ranks communities across the US as “Platinum, Gold, Silver, or Bronze” based on their biking infrastructure, programs, and policies. 24 Badger State cities/counties are currently on the list:
Platinum: Madison
Silver: Appleton, Fitchburg, La Crosse, Milwaukee, Shorewood, Stevens Point
Bronze: Dane County, Eau Claire, Green Bay, Janesville, Kenosha County, Menasha, Menomonie, Middleton, Monona, Onalaska, River Falls, Sheboygan, Sheboygan County, Sturgeon Bay, Sun Prairie, Verona, Wausau
MORE: Why Madison is one of the top cycling cities in the US

Here are four Wisconsin cities great for biking (& which trails to hit!)
