It doesn’t get more “Wisconsin” than this…
That should be the tagline of Bodihow Brewing Company in Oregon. The owners — Jamie Bush, Mac Shroeder, and Scot Williams — are beer lovers, bicyclists, and coffee drinkers, so naturally, they decided to sell all three under one roof.

The open floor plan, with high ceilings, skylights, and large garage doors that open to a patio, is unlike other Wisconsin taprooms. So are the brewery’s 14 tap handles, which are all made of bicycle parks, mostly pedals.
Speaking of bikes, Bodihow sells, rents, and repairs them. And while you wait or shop, you can order a brew. The company’s in-house specialties are a porter, a Scotch ale, and an amber.
As for the name, “Bodihow” is an acronym for “Bunch of Dudes I Hang Out With.” The reason? The owners didn’t want to risk claims of trademark infringement, so rather than roll the dice, they created their own name.
“It started as just a placeholder for a month while we worked through different ones,” Bush said in an interview with the Isthmus, “But it works.”
