Republican Congressman Tom Tiffany has spent his early weeks as a candidate for governor focused solely on former Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes. There’s no certainty that Barnes will end up winning the August Democratic gubernatorial primary, but Barnes showed farmers in Chippewa County he’s up to task if he becomes the party’s nominee.
